Killed in car accident on US 31 in summer of 1979 In Antrim County Michigan.

Mother: Louise Burgess
Father: James Burgess

Brothers: John Lawrence Burgess sadly killed in The Vietnam War 1970. Both Nicholas and John Lawrence were adopted by the Burgesses. There is no evidence Nicholas James Burgess and John Lawrence Burgess were related by blood. John Lawrence Burgess is not buried here, he was buried 2 July 2013 in Arlington National Cemetery after his remains were recovered in 2012.
