Willie Lou was a strong, vibrant and successful woman who loved life and lived it to the fullest. Friends, family, neighbors and acquaintances describe her as selfless and generous with a beautiful and positive spirit. She was a role model, mentor, best friend, and confidante to many and she proudly considered her home and family her career. Hobbies and interests included reading, dancing, gardening, music, sewing, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
She is preceded in death by both parents; step-father Walter F. Foster; first husband of 33 years, Johnnie Scott Ivey; second husband of 19 years, Marvin Louis Melton; brother Robert Harold Jones, sister Martha Sue (Foster) Martin, and grandson-in-law, Raymond Alan Yarbrough.

Her final message to her family: "Don't grieve over my passing. Just remember the good times and all the years we've been so fortunate to have together. Remember my love for each of you and most important of all....that life is for the living."
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Monday, November 30, 2015 with funeral at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
