MRS. ALICE H. BEARD, 57, of Houston, passed away Thursday, Septmeber 5, 1985. Native of Russellville, Alabama; Houston resident 37 years. Member of the Southeast Church of Christ. Survivors; Husband, David L. Beard; son, Dr. Benjamin L.D. Beard; daughters, Mary Alice Beard, Mrs. Rose Ann Wayner, all of Houston; brothers, Clayton Denton of New Hampshire, John Louis Denton, Alabama; sisters, Mrs. Elise H. Lyons, Pasadena, Mrs. Rose Pauline Carpenter, Alabama, Mrs. Virginia H. Broadway, Alabama; three grandchildren. Funeral service 3 pm Monday, Niday Broadway Funeral Chapel with Charlie Kynes officiating. Interment at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
