Dr. Benjamin Louis Denton Beard of Houston, Texas passed away on May 18, 2012 around 10:30 a.m. at Clear Lake Hospital due to complications associated with kidney and liver failure. Ben was born on February 8, 1948 in Florence, Alabama to David and Alice Beard. Ben was married to Kitty in March 1975 not long after the completion of his doctorate in chiropractic. Over the past 40 years of practice Dr. Beard was presented with countless awards and recognized for his committed efforts in the field of chiropractic.
Dr. Ben Beard is proceeded in death by his wife Kitty and sons Benjamin "Bo" Beard (his wife Elizabeth and 2 grandsons; Jonathan and Nathan) and Luke Beard (his wife Sandra and granddaughter Kimberly), sisters Rose Wayner (her husband John) and Mary Beard (deceased).
Services will be held at Forest Park Lawndale on Thursday the 24 of May at 10:00 a.m. Visitations will be Tuesday from 5:00-9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 1:00-9:00 p.m.
