PEGGY BROOM, age 71, a resident of Las Colinas for more than 20 years and a great neighbor to all, died March 15, 2011 at home. She was born August 20, 1939 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Peggy was a flight attendant for American Airlines, retiring after 42 years. Preceded in death by her parents, Marie and Clay Ferguson, she is survived by her son, Steven Broom of Arlington; grandson, Jacob Broom; sister, Dee McKee of Ohio; niece, Kimberly Saito; and companion, Bob Vickrey. A Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, March 21, 2011 at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
