Robert Connor Bettencourt, 78, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2011. Service: 11 a.m. Saturday, April 16, at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel. Interment: Bourland Cemetery in Keller. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. He was born Jan. 26, 1933. He retired from the Army as a master sergeant after 26 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and made his own flies for his many fishing trips. Survivors: Children, Shelia Daniels and husband, Max Temple, of Fort Worth, Jack Bettencourt and wife, Ana, of Vine Grove, KY, Sally Wood and partner, Steve Esielionis, of Shirley, MA, Brenda Paschall and husband, Danny, of Lewisville, Linda Gendron and partner, Stanley Westover, of Ayer, MA, and Lisa G. Blevins and husband, Scott, of Paradise; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He will be missed by his brothers and sisters in Maine. Published Star-Telegram on 14 APR 2011
