WOMAN HELD FOR ATTACK
Mrs. Mary Cummings, 1025 west 6th street, is being held in the Lawrence county jail at Bedford today awaiting probable arraignment Wednesday afternoon before Mayor A. H. Berndt in the city police court on a charge of assault and battery on her sister, Mrs. Trulie Adams, 1005 west 6th street.
Mrs. Cummings was arrested at her home Monday evening about 5:10 o'clock and first lodged in the city police lockup before being taken to Bedford. Mrs. Cummings is alleged to have assaulted Mrs. Adams at the latter's home while she was in an intoxicated condition. City police report having made two calls to the Adams' home by reports of family trouble, the first call being made at 4:45 o'clock and the second at 5 p.m.
