Myrtle, age 89, passed away at Nevada City Hospital following a long illness. She was the daughter of C.P. and Zelpha Lee (Job) Tudor. She married Harrison H. Barrit on September 23, 1908, and had seven children. She married Clyde Lindsey on May 14, 1955; he died on January 19, 1978. She was preceded in death by both husbands, her sons, James Howard Barritt and Bertie Perry Barritt, five grandchildren, her parents, three brothers, and two sisters. She is survived by her children, Lloyd Barritt, Olen Barritt, Lawrence Barritt, Lorene Hartline, and Belva Poston, 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, her step-children, Lucille McWilliams, Clara Spencer, Luvan Cole, and Charles Lindsey, her brothers, Orvis Tudor and Floyd Tudor. Services were held at Hackleman Peterman Chapel. Burial was in Clintonville Cemetery.
