Millard Barritt, 87, Post Falls, died Tuesday night at Great Falls, MT., where he was visiting relatives. His death followed a short illness.
Mr. Barritt, a long time resident of the Inland Empire, moved to Post Falls from St. Maries in 1956. His wife Edith died May 1. He was a member of the First Baptist church, Couer d' Alene.
Survivors are a son James Aaron Barritt, Fairfield, MT.; a step-son Everett Discher, Couer d' Alene; a daughter, Mrs. Dale Waits, Post Falls; two step-daughters, Mrs. Lillian Cornwall, Scoby, MT and Mrs. Myrtle Cornwall, Coromach, Sask.; three sisters Mrs. Pearl Burrus, El Dorado Springs, MO, Mrs. Alice McLain, Gainsville, MO and Mrs. Daisy Bubenzer, Siloam Springs, AR; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist church, the Rev. W. C. Hunter officiating. Burial in Restlawn cemetery will follow. The English Funeral Chapel is in charge of Arrangements.
