Who could have known that a heart beating so strongly, and a life that absolutely loved living would be gone from us so quickly?

Justin Craig Barnett was born February 3rd, 1976 to proud parents Joe and Marsha Quinn Barnett, and was taken home to Heaven on July 27th, 2014 at the young age of 38.

He attended local schools, and graduated from Tulare Union High School in 1994. Justin then furthered his education and career by graduating from the Correctional Officer Academy in Galt, Calif. At the time of his passing, Justin was a Sergeant at California State Prison Corcoran, where he had served for 14 years.

Justin's passion for motorcycles began at a very young age. His dream was to race motorcycles, at which he excelled tremendously! He enjoyed mentoring younger riders and helping them at race tracks everywhere. He also promoted his own motorcycle races in Porterville for 2 years.

The game of golf was another love of Justin's, and he enjoyed playing it with his sister Jenna, and daughter Brooklynn. You could also find him at the shooting range practicing with his firearms.

Our Justin will be remembered as a fun loving prankster who never met a stranger. Our lives will never be the same without him......

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Jewell and Claudia Barnett, Charles C. Quinn, Wayne and Yvonne Q. Lichtenberger, and Loren Rush.

Justin is survived by his daughter Brooklynn Barnett, mother Marsha Quinn, father Joe Barnett, 2nd Mom Karen Barnett, brother Kyle Barnett, sister Jenna McCain, grandma Freida Rush, great-grandma Dona McClure, fiancé Jennifer McElmoyl and her daughters Jaylyn and Jordyn, and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 1st, 2014 at 9am at Calvary Chapel Visalia, 11720 Avenue 264, Visalia, CA. In lieu of flowers, a trust-fund has been established for Brooklynn T. Barnett, Justin's daughter, at EECU.

"We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed~~always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body."
2 Corinthians 4:8-10
