Helen married her high school sweetheart, Max E. Berger on Nov. 26, 1954, and they made their home in Montpelier. They were blessed with two daughters, Maxine and Kathleen. In 1969 they moved to Rock Springs, wher Helen worked as a beautician and owned her own shops. In 1977, Max and Helen transitioned to life in a remote oil and gas production company camps. Later they returned to Montpelier to enjoy their retirement years.
Helen is survived by her husband, Max E. Berger of Montpelier; two daughters, Maxine (Ron) Skroh of Pocatello, and Kathleen (Mike) Tipton of Rock Springs; two sisters, Annalue West of Nibley, and Arlene Hall of Wellsville; one brother, Darrell (Maryann) Roskelly of Burley; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Camilla Biddle.
Graveside services were held in the Montpelier Cemetery.
