Anna Lea Wood Boyd, 74, of 989 Waterlily Road, Coinjock, NC died Thursday, July 29, 2010 in the Albemarle Hospital. Mrs. Boyd was born in Mercer County, West Virginia; was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mrs. Emma Clark Wood; and the wife of William T. Boyd. She had retired from the Lever Brothers Factory in Baltimore, MD. Besides her husband Mrs. Boyd is survived by a son, Richard Addison, of Coinjock, NC, and a brother, Thomas Wood, of Belair, MD. G raveside service was held on Saturday, July 31, 2010 in Laurel Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Poplar Branch, NC by Rev. Charles Wellons. Memorials may be made to Friends of the Currituck County Library, 4261 Caratoke Highway, Barco, NC 27917. Twiford Funeral Home, Memorial Chapel, 405 East Church St.,Elizabeth City, NC is assisting the Boyd family.
