Lorraine Ascareggi, age 86 was graciously called to Heaven on July 4, 2013.

She was the beloved wife of the late Alphonse "Oscar" Ascareggi, loving mother of Carol Hurlbut and Linda (Thomas) Kratochvil, proud grandmother of Deenamarie (Jeff) Pawelski, James Hurlbut and Marisa (Brock) Flanigan, cherished great-grandmother of Noah Vincent Flanigan, loving sister of Reno Carrara, fond aunt of many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was retired from Danly Machine Corp. where she was a dedicated secretary for many years. She was also a faithful member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Cicero. She was a kind and beautiful woman who will be greatly missed by many for her loving and caring ways. She and her beloved husband are now together for eternity.

Visitation Wednesday, July 10 and Thursday, July 11, 3:00pm to 9:00pm at Kuratko-Nosek Funeral Home 2447 S. DesPlaines Avenue, North Riverside. Funeral Friday, July 12, Lying in State 10:00am until time of Funeral Service 10:30am at Gethsemane Lutheran Church 1937 S. 50th Avenue, Cicero.

Entombment Woodlawn Cemetery, Chapel of Eternal Light, Forest Park.


Hobbies: Enjoyed reading, baking, cooking and crocheting
