Duchess was brought home when she was about 6 weeks old. She was half poodle and Dachshund.
She loved to play with those fuzzy house shoes we had back in the 70's. We always made sure we had a pair for her.
Whenever we went for a drive we would lower the window so that she could ride with her head out the window.
She had a very good memory, we would go visit my Aunt who lived a couple hours away and when we reached a few blocks from her house she would get very excited. Even when we moved to Texas and would go back to visit she remembered where she was at and get excited.
She's was a special part of our lives and is missed.
