Funeral services for Mrs. Nona Huffaker Ard, 94, of Clinton who died about 7 p.m. Friday in a Greenville hospital will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Floyd Methodist Church, of which she had been a member with the Rev. H.B. Carraway officiating.

Mrs. Ard made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Walter Coleman of Clinton, for several years.

Born May 30, 1874, in Greenville, the daughter of I.N. and Sally Elam Huffaker, Mrs. Ard was married to Samuel Rush Ard in 1894. Mr. Ard preceded her in death in 1934.

Additional survivors include a sister, Mrs. Willie Hollingsworth of Greenville; four other daughters, Mrs. Rob Askins and Mrs. Darvin Stephenson, both of Greenville, Mrs. Clyde B. Taylor of Grand Saline, and Mrs. Adalia Bradberry of Grand Prairie; two sons; Charlie Ard of Arkansas and Sam Ard of Caddo Mills; 18 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

FLOYD - Funeral services for Mrs. Nona Ard, 94-year-old Hunt County native, will be at 2 p.m. today at the Floyd Methodist Church with the Rev. H.V. Caraway, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Old Concord Cemetery at Jacobia under the direction of Royse City Funeral Home. Pallbearers will include Omar McAnn, Horace Stephenson, A.D. Stephenson, I.N. Hollingsworth, Herschel Corley and Frank Lane.

Mrs. Ard died at 7 p.m. Friday in a Greenville hospital.

She was born May 30, 1874, in Greenville, daughter of late I.N. and Sally Elam Huffaker. She married Samuel R. Ard in 1894 and he preceded her in death in 1934.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Walter Coleman of the Clinton community, with whom she resided, Mrs. Robert Askins and Mrs. Darvin Stephenson, both of Greenville, Mrs. Clyde B. Taylor of Grand Saline and Mrs. Adalia Bradberry of Grande Prairie; two sons, Sam Ard of Caddo Mills and Charlie Ard of Arkansas; one sister, Mrs. Willie Hollingsworth of Greenville; 18 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
