Early on Saturday morning Brent Allen, of Mechanicsburg, PA, found peace and went to a brighter place where he is joined by other relatives and friends that have passed in previous years and months. It was truly sudden and unexpected. He was 20 years of age and so looking forward to his 21st birthday in June. During his short life Brent became well loved by a vast group of friends throughout central Pennsylvania.

As he neared his graduation from Red Land High School, he discovered his art talent by starting to do sketches for some tattoo businesses in the area. It was not long until he picked up the skill of tattooing himself, and became very much in demand for his custom designed tattoos by a huge number of his friends. Now so many have something to remember him by forever. He also had strengths in the skilled service industry of carpentry and worked for an area contractor doing remodeling, flooring, fences, and all aspects in that field.

Brent was also well respected for his caring about others and he would be there for anyone that needed him. He was sought by his many close friends as an ear to listen and was appreciated for his take on life, one day at a time and live for today. His other interests included snow boarding and his huge love for hunting. He successfully bagged his first antlered buck last year in Fairview Township by getting a huge six point on the last morning of the season. Brent was always full of energy and life.

Born June 9, 1989, Brent grew up in Fairview Township and is survived by many that loved him. They include his parents Craig and Monica Allen along with his older sister Jenna Allen, a step mother Ann Allen, and his step father Greg Woods as well as many extended siblings. They include three step sisters, Alyssa and Sarah Woods, Sonia Hoffman, and two step brothers Andrew and Ryan Hoffman, and his loving girl friend Katrina Lusk, all in the West Shore area. In addition he is also survived by his grand parents William and Jackie Allen, of New Bern, NC, Martin Ripson, of Enola, PA, his aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Brent was truly well respected and loved by his family and friends and will be missed forever by all. A memorial service will be held at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church at 3435 Trindle Road, Camp Hill, PA, at 2:00 pm, Sunday May 16, 2010 with a Celebration of Life Reception immediately following.

In lieu of flowers Brent would want donations made to Gaudenzia Inc., Attention Rosie Crosby, 106 West Main Street, Norristown, PA 19401 or the American Cancer Society as he has many relatives and friends touched by cancer.

With all our LOVE.
