Beulah is one of twelve children born to John Burgess and Janie Tuggle. Her siblings are: Clyde (husband of Ethel), Everett (husband of Loretta), Elsie (wife of Butler), Rosa, Maude, Jess (husband of Laura Mae), Edith, Garrett, Opal, Glen (husband of Virgie), and Phyllis.
On November 19, 1938 she married B.F. and together they had six children. Phyllis (wife of Earl), Janice (wife of B.P.), Patricia, Juanita (wife of Don), Gail (wife of George), and James (husband of Becky).
They have ten grandchildren: Theresa, Sean, Larry, Connie, Gary, Stephanie, Paul, Christina, Mollie, and Olivia.
