Scotts- Robert Bowels an old resident of this place, and a soldier in the rebellion, died at the residence of his niece, Hattie Thomas, Saturday, Jan. 21, of a complication of diseases. For a number of years he had been in feeble health. His age was 82. The funeral was held at the M. E. church Monday at 1:30. Rev Anderson officiated.
