RITES HERE FOR G. A. BLANCHARD, 64
Funeral services for Glenn A. Blanchard of Jordan, a former resident of Cortland, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the B. L. Bush and Son Funeral Home in Jordan. Committal services will be held in the Cortland Rural Cemetery chapel at 4 p.m. Sunday.

Mr. Blanchard died Thursday at Syracuse Memorial Hospital. He was 64 years old. Born in Cortlandville, he was the son of Frank A. and Lettie Sears Blanchard. He was graduated from Cortland High School and attended Cornell University.

Surviving him are a brother, Carl Blanchard, Cortlandville; two sisters, Mrs. L. V. LaMotte, Freeville, and Mrs. George Matthias, Greenport, Long Island; and several nieces and nephews.

A member and deacon of the Jordan Baptist Church, Mr. Blanchard was a World War I veteran and a past commander and member of the Kent-Sanford-Mahoney Post, American Legion, at Jordan. He was a past president and member of the Jordan Garden Club, a member of the Elbridge Grange and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
