Ann and Robert had 2 sons who survived, John and Thomas. John and Thomas both came to Philadelphia, John to Manayunk and Thomas to East Falls. After Robert died in Trowbridge, Wiltshire in 1896, Ann came to the United States. She was living with her son John in the 1900 census in Philadelphia. Although Robert's name and dates (1826 -1896) are on the stone, he is not buried here. He is buried in Wiltshire, England.
