Figure skater. He was a five-time German champion nationwide. He trained with Karel Fajfr and started for the TUS Stuttgart. In German Championships he won against Norbert Schramm and Rudi Cerne. The tall athlete was a very good runner obligation whose freestyles were characterized by their athletic jumps. In artistic expression, he remained behind his West German colleagues back Schramm and Cerne in international comparison. In memory of Heiko Fischer will be held in Stuttgart the Heiko-Fischer-Cup since 1991.
