ღGreat Auntღ

Thank You for visiting my dear Aunt Cody. She is loved and missed so very much. God bless.

༻✿ Cora Simpson Bussmann was the daughter of Henry and Angeline "Anna" Rust Simpson, born at home in Branch Hill, Ohio.
Gr-Aunt Cody married George Bussmann and settled in together in Norwood, Ohio where they were active in their church and community. They had no children.
In 1962 after Gr-Uncle George passed away Gr-Aunt Cody moved to Sarasota, Florida. There she was the Auxiliary Sewing Chairman and Library Volunteer for the Memorial Hospital. She was the first to receive the 9,000 hour pin by Memorial Hospital for each hour cheerfully donated. She began serving as a volunteer in 1962 and had amassed more hours than any other member at that time since the founding of the Auxiliary in 1948.
In 1980 the hospital gave her retirement from service at the age of 92 years old. February 19, 1983 Gr-Aunt Cody passed away of old age at the Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Her body was brought back to Ohio and was buried next to her beloved husband.

Gr-Aunt Cody, you are loved and missed to this day by family, friends, and those you served so faithfully in your community. May God bless you and may you ever rest in peace in the presence of our heavenly God.
