Robert A. Turer, 69, died Wednesday, May 28 2014 at McLeod Seacoast Medical Center. Born on July 19, 1944 in Bronx New York, he was the son of the late Harry and Johanna Yandersitz Turer. Mr. Turer is survived by his wife of 50 years Ruth F. Turer, son Robert M. Turer, brothers Harry and Donald Turer, sister Joann Finura, 8 grandchildren; Brandy Cummings, David Stroud, Alex Hunt, Camille Locklear, Johanna Hunt, Vincent Turer, Anthony Turer and Genna Turer and 7 great grandchildren. He was predeceased in death by his daughter Deborah Ann Turer Hunt.

**On a personal note, Bob at one time was my father in law. He was a stern man, and if sarcasm was a language then he exceled at it. But he was a kind man, very funny and would give anyone anything he had. He will be missed very much by his family and friends.

Don't think of him as gone away
his journey's just begun,
life holds so many facets
this earth is only one.

Just think of him as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.

Think how he must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.

And think of him as living
in the hearts of those he touched...
for nothing loved is ever lost
and he was loved so much
