SSgt Michael Robert Stratten passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at his home in Las Vegas, NV. where he was currently serving in the US Air Force. He was born October 11, 1981 in Pocatello, Idaho to Leslie and Velta Stratten.

Michael will be leaving behind to cherish his memories his young infant son, Nicholas James Stratten.

He will also be missed dearly by his parents; one sister, Kimberly Dawn Pota; his grandparents, Gene and Velma Adams; six uncles, two aunts, two nephews and three nieces.

Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Franklin and Dorothy Stratten and his mother's father Ernest Hampton.

The Stratten family will receive guests for a time of visitation Tuesday November 1, 2011 from 6:00 PM โ€“ 8:00 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Killeen. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Killeen at 11:30 AM on Wednesday November 2, 2011. Burial with Full Military Honors will be held in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery following the funeral services.
