Catherine S. Flood widow of Conogressman Daniel J. Flood died Sunday August 14 2005 at the age of eighty-eight. She received her early education at St. Mary's grade school and St. Mary'd High School. She received her bacculareat degree from College Misericordia. Dallas,PA. She taught High School at James M. Coughlin H.S. in Wilkes Barre until her marriage to Congressman Flood who represented the 11th Congressional District in Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Flood remained active with several professional theater groups for many years.She was past president of the Congressional wives club and the Auxilleries of Mercy, Wilkes Barre General and Geisinger Hospitals.
Mrs. Flood was the sole remaining member of her generation of pioneer settlers in North Wilkes Barre.
