Michael Bridgewater, 31, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away Monday, May 23, 2011. He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and came here in 1994 from St. Angelo, Texas. He is a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church and was a roofer by trade working for R. J. Roofing in Inverness. Michael graduated in 1998 from Central High School and was a member of Central High Cross Country where they won the Championship. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Cleatis and Clara Lou Bridgewater. He is survived by his loving parents, Cynthia and Louis Bridgewater of Spring Hill, biological father, Michael Smith, three sons, Andrew Voight of Inverness, Jesse Norris of Gadson, Alabama, Blake Bridgewater of Inverness, Sister, Anne Bridgewater and husband John Derbyshire of Savannah, Georgia, Brother, Mitchell Smith of Gainsville, two nieces, Dawn Middleton and Clara Bridgewater and nephew, Caleb Bridgewater all of Savannah, Georgia, maternal grandparents, Aime` and Carolyn Lamoureux of Spring Hill and many other loving family members and friends. Visitation Friday, May 27 from 6pm to 7pm, Celebration of Life at 7pm at 280 Mariner Boulevard, Mass will be held Saturday, May 28 at 11am at St Frances Cabrini with Interment to follow at Spring Lake Cemetery. Family has requested that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the family to be set aside for his children's college education.
