[Horace E. Pardon, 54, of N. Harding Ave., Chicago, Ill., died unexpectedly at 3 a.m. Sat., Sept. 23, 1972,following a short illness, at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. George J. Danek, S. Belmont Rd., Downers Grove, Ill. #Mr. Pardon will be waked at Collins Funeral Home, 5350 W. North Ave., Chicago, Ill., from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. TODAY ONLY. #A native of Giles Co., Tenn., Mr. Pardon's remains will be flown to his home state where he will be waked at Bennett-May Funeral Home in Pulaski, Tenn. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery next to his wife, Mary Tidwell Pardon, who preceded him in death two years ago. #Mr. Pardon, an Army veteran of World War II, was the son of the late William Forrest and Annie Belle Bevels Pardon of Giles Co., Tenn. #Survivors include his three children, daughter, Mrs. Joyce Pardon Danek, of Downers Grove, Ill., two sons, Robert Eugene Pardon, West Palm Beach, Fla., Larry Wayne Pardon, Chicago, Ill., and 20 month old grandson, David Danek. #Other survivors include eight brothers, William Howard Pardon, Walter Thurman Pardon, Thomas Overton Pardon, James Elbredge Pardon, Forrest Brown Pardon, Allen Dean Pardon, John Alton Pardon, Carl Edward Pardon, six sisters, Lois Marie Pardon, Annie Ruth Pardon Holley, Ethel Lee Pardon Jarrett, Larstine Pardon Oliver, Iva Jean Pardon Edwards, and Nancy Naomia Pardon Sumners, all of Tenn. #Mr. Horace Pardon was preceded in death last year by a brother, Aubra Speer Pardon, of Plant City, Fla.]
