MRS. MARY T. PARDON
[Mrs. Mary Tidwell Pardon, 50, wife of Horace Eugene Pardon, N. Harding Ave., Chicago, Ill., died this morning at home at 2 a.m., Thurs., Sept. 10, 1970 following a long illness. #Mrs. Pardon will be waked at Collins Funeral Home, 5350 W. North Ave., Chicago, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. TODAY ONLY. #A native of Giles Co., Tenn., Mrs. Pardon's remains will be flown to her home state where she will also be waked at the Bennett-May Funeral Home in Pulaski, Tenn. followed by burial at Maplewood Cemetery. #Mrs. Mary Pardon was a member of Judson Baptist Church, Oak Park, Ill. #Mrs. Pardon is survived by her husband of almost 28 years, her three children, daughter, Mrs. Joyce Pardon Danek, Chicago, and two sons, Robert Eugene Pardon, of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Larry Wayne Pardon, Chicago. #Other survivors include her mother, Mrs. Mabel C. Pillow Tidwell, Pulaski, Tenn.; five brothers: Joe Henry Tidwell, Modesto, Calif., Sam Wesley Tidwell and Harold Dean "Tootsie" Tidwell, both of Pulaski, Tenn., Selvin "Tap" Tidwell of Lewisburg, Tenn., Jimmy Tidwell of Huntsville, Ala., and four sisters: Mrs. Louise Tidwell Wicklatz Michalik, Willow Springs, Ill., Mrs. Liz Tidwell Davis and Miss Mabel Doris Tidwell, both of Pulaski, Tenn., and Mrs. Lillian Marie Ursiny of San Jose, Calif. #Mrs. Mary Pardon was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Johnson Tidwell, and a sister, Aileen Tidwell Dunnavant, both of Pulaski, Tenn., both in 1962.]
[Grandsons, Daniel S. Danek (1973-1976) and Jason A. Danek (1978-2017) are buried at Oakwood Cemetery, Dixon, Illinois.]
