Mrs. Mary Lee Basham-Cline,87,of Shawsville, went to be with her Heavenly Father Friday, July 1,2016, surrounded by her loving children. Mary was born in Pocahontas,W. VA., on November 9,1928. She was a charter member of Seneca Baptish Church in Elliston. Mary was a beloved Wife,Mother,Grandmother,Sister and friend. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar "Chick" Cline; son Johnny E Cline; parents, Noah and Lottie Basham;grandson Steven Todd Cline;as well as three of her silbings,Mildred,Tommy,Jimmy. Mary leaves behind her children, Steven Wayne and Tina B. Cline of Montvale, and Donna C. Mellichamp of Bridgeville,PA. Also surviving are six grandchildren,Monacca C. and Thomas Pitts of Blaisville,PA.,Christina M. and Dan Caffarelli of Bridgeville,PA.,Joseph T. Mellichamp of Christiansburg,Hallie C. and Evan Iczowski of Montvale,Tammy and John Trussler of Radford;as well as 10 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her silbings, Billy,Cleon,Carolyn and Dorothy;as well as many extended loved ones. The family would like to thank Carilion Hopice of the New River Valley for all of their help and support. The family will receive friend 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday,July 6,2016, at Horne Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 7,2016,at Seneca Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
