Ernest was my first cousin, once removed. He was such a handsome, kind and intelligent man. He was a child psychologist, married with two sons and a daughter. Late one night he fell asleep at the wheel of his car; it veered off the highway, colliding with a water tank. He was only thirty eight years of age.

He always has and always will be missed.

Since Ernest's passing, he has been reunited with his wife Barbara, his first born and older son Tommy, his parents Jack and Vea Duckworth and all of his siblings; oldest brother Harry Duckworth; sister Betty Staller and her husband Joe; his brother Art Duckworth and his wife Kay.

Our lives go on without you but nothing is the same. We have tried to hide our heartaches when someone speaks your name. Sad are the hearts that loved you. Silent the tears that fall. Living our lives without you is the hardest part of all. You did so many things for us, your heart was kind and true, and when we needed someone we could always count on you. The special years will not return when we were all together, but with the love within our hearts you will walk with us forever. ~Anon.

Rest in sweet Heavenly peace, dear cousin Ernest. xoxoxo
