Grama Ellie was an only child of George Simon(d)s and Victoria Bernard Simon(d)s. She lost her father George to TB when she was only 4 years old. Her mother raised her with help from her family. She would be enrolled in Catholic School @ St Joseph in West Hartford, an all girls school. She wanted to become a nun and if able to there would be no story, but she ended up married to Nicholas Cristelli and had a son Nicholas my uncle. Ellie and Nick divorced soon after she married a gentleman 16 years her senior...my grandfather Leonard Pasco(e). They had 4 children. Leonard had been previously married to Blanche Holden and they had a daughter Beverly before Blanche died of cancer.
