WELLINGTON — Willard R. "Bill" Bailey, 84, of Wellington, died May 7, 2013, at his residence.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Assembly of God in Wellington.
Burial will be in Prairie Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be 1 to 8 p.m. Friday with the family present from 5 to 7 at Day Funeral Home & Crematory, 1030 Mission Rd., Wellington, KS 67152.

Willard was born Jan. 21, 1929, in Shawnee, Okla., to Rector and Tillie (Frost) Bailey. On July 15, 1951, Willard and Ruth Brill married in El Dorado. Together they celebrated 61 years of marriage.
Willard retired from Laughlin Brothers where he worked as an international drilling superintendent. His position allowed him and his family to live abroad for over 29 years.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his sister, Marjorie Adams.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Bailey, Wellington; daughter, Brenda Burnett, and husband, Larry, Salina; daughter, Ronda White, and husband, Joe, Pagosa Springs, Colo.; sister, Mattie Ruth Woods, and husband, Phil, Iowa; grandchildren, Stephanie Trent, Phoenix, Ariz., Tim Burnett, Springfield, Mo., Matt Trent, Dallas, Texas, Lisa Burnett, Kansas City, and Stacie Burnett, Lawrence.
