Obituary

June 25, 1950- July 4, 2013
Carolyn Green Buck was born to Violet Engelke Green and Tillman Thomas Green on June 25, 1950 in Seguin, TX, where she was raised on a small farm, along with her sister, Judy, and brother, Tony. She graduated from Seguin High School in 1968 and on June 13, 1970 she married her high school sweetheart, Ron "Butch" Buck. The two lived in College Station for two years, where Ron attended Texas A&M. Carolyn spent the remainder of her life in San Antonio and Helotes, where she and Ron raised their three beautiful children, Toni, Traci and Ryan. Carolyn was a devoted wife, mother, homemaker, and friend during these years of raising her children. But life had only just begun for Carolyn! During the last 19 years of her life, she had the honor and privilege of welcoming into her family 14 grandchildren, all of whom she loved with her whole heart, and by whom she was affectionately called "Mimi". Carolyn lived a life filled with love, compassion, service to others, and a devotion to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was known for her home-decorating talent, her hospitality, and most of all, her delicious cooking! All who entered her home felt welcomed and part of the family. Carolyn has touched the lives of so many, and will be greatly missed by all.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents Tillman and Violet Green.
She is survived by her husband, Ron "Butch" Buck, and their three children- Toni Hastings and husband, Charlie of Kerrville, Traci Fitzpatrick and husband, Ty of Hondo, and Ryan Buck and wife, Stacy of Helotes. Her grandchildren include- Taryn, Hannah, Kendall, Darian, Caden and Colton Hastings; Tyler, Tristan, Tate, Teagan and T Fitzpatrick; and Masie, Katelyn, and Gunner Buck. She is also survived by her sister Judy Mueller (David) of Marion, and her brother Tony Green (Jayne) of Austin, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, and the entire Buck family, all of whom she loved.
