Second marriage to Curtis Wain Gates, aka singer/actor Ken Curtis, (most remembered for his role as Festus Haggen on TV's "Gunsmoke"), married May 31, 1952, divorced July 23, 1964. They were married for twelve years.
No children were born into either marriage.

From All Movie Guide: The daughter of distinguished filmmaker John Ford, film editor Barbara Ford began her own career in the mid-1940s as an apprentice cutter. She then went on to work as an assistant editor on some of her father's films including Fort Apache, The Quiet Man and Rio Grande. Later she edited television shows, beginning with Ben Casey, and also worked for MTM on several shows. In 1985, she edited Bogdanovich's Mask; it was her final film.

Film editor Barbara Ford, daughter of the late John Ford, died Thursday of cancer. She was 62. Family members said services for Ms. Ford, whose last film was The Mask, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Good Shepherd Church in Beverly Hills. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the American Cancer Society. Ms. Ford is survived by a brother, Pat Ford; two nephews, Dan and Tim Ford; and a niece, Mary Ford.
