Marilyn J. (Winker) Fitzsimmons, lifetime resident of Niagara Falls, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Schoellkopf Health Care Facility. She was 82. She was born in Niagara Falls on September 3, 1930, a daughter of the late Edwin and Eva (Calvert) Winker. She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1948.

Mrs. Fitzsimmons worked as a secretary at Hooker Chemical until her retirement in 1985. She enjoyed reading presidential biographies, playing euchre and doing crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna (late George) Crawley; her special cousin, Lois Rainer Weinberg; and nieces, Linda Hardy, Wendy Brown, Jerri Carlisle and Vandy Palazzo. She was predeceased by her infant son, Christopher Daniel Fitzsimmons (1950); daughter, Lynn Alethea Fitzsimmons (2011); and her brother, Jimmie Winker (1989).
