Jerry Danford, age 69, of Flower Mound, Texas, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013 in Flower Mound. Jerry was born February 20, 1944 in Crosby County, Texas to Charles and Frances Danford. He graduated from Midway High School in Woodway, Texas in 1962. He married the love of his life, Martha Atchison, on November 5, 1966. He served 4 years in the US Air Force and attended Southwest Texas State University and Eastfield College. He spent his career in the insurance business as an underwriter and worked for State Farm, Royal, Hartford, and Great American. He made many friendships during his career and was highly respected in the insurance industry. Jerry loved his country and Texas, as well as his many friends. Most of all he loved his family, and he took special joy in his "girls" – Martha, Robin, Jennifer, Jessica and Nicole. He had a heart as big as Texas and a sense of humor to match.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 46 years, Martha Danford; 2 daughters; his mother; a sister and a brother; 2 grandchildren; a niece and 2 nephews, as well as extended family and many friends.
