Bobbie Jean Johnson Chitsey passed away peacefully with her devoted husband Raymond by her side on Monday, July 21, 2014 in Dallas, Texas.

Bobbie was born in Winnsboro, Texas on August 27, 1930 to the late Oscar Howard Johnson and Dessa Cornelia Stanley Johnson. She fell in love and married Raymond Chitsey in Winnsboro in 1949 . She was a lifelong Christian and attended the First Baptist Church of Rowlett, Texas. She was also a charter member of Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas , where she raised her 2 children. Bobbie had a 35-year career as a teller with Bank of America, retiring in 1995.

She was known for her loving thoughtful ways, positive attitude, and infectious laugh. Everybody loved her. She never had an unkind word to say about anybody.

She was preceded in death by sister Tommie Gay Johnson Greer and brother Stanley Howard Johnson. She is survived by her husband, Royce Raymond Chitsey, son Gregory Royce Chitsey and wife Linda Chitsey, daughter Debra Kay Chitsey, granddaughter Malissa Wisdom and husband Jared Wisdom, granddaughter Lacey Chitsey, great granddaughters Ryleigh and Reagen Wisdom, brother John Lewis Johnson and sister Betty Sue Johnson Clanton.
