Francis Z. CARLSON, 48, native Utahn and for many years a resident of Eureka, Died Thursday at 1:35 p.m. at a Salt Lake hospital, after a lingering illness.
He was born in Spring City April 12, 1890, a son of John and Nina Strait CARLSON. His wife, Mrs. Bessie Norman CARLSON, died several years ago.
Surviving are three sons, Francis CARLSON of Eureka, Albert CARLSON of Salt Lake City and Eskel CARLSON of Fort Douglas; three daughters, Mrs. Leonard BROWN and Miss Dora CARLSON of Eureka and Mrs. Dean CONOVER of Anchorage, Alaska; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. George OVERSTREET of Venice, California and Mrs. Allen F. CLARK of Santa Monica, California; four brothers, Eskel and Gerald CARLSON of Eureka, DeLeon and Shirley CARLSON of Spring City.
Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday at 1:00 p.m. in the Eureka LDS Ward Chapel. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
