She was the daughter of; Enoch Walker Whisman (1880 - 1957).
and Margaret Emma (Parsons, McClancy) Whisman, (1878 - 1953).

Eugenia Whisman and Earl Davis were married in Saint Helens, Lee County Kentucky by Zachariah Ball, Minister of the Gospel of the Church of Christ on 23 November 1935.

Earl went to Michigan in August of 1942 to find work. He soon found a job in Rochester where he and his brother Joe rented a double house.

In December, Eugenia and their 3 ½ year old daughter, Margaret went to Michigan on a train with a family friend, Calvin Ball. They left Saint Helens, Kentucky at 9 a.m., December 17 and arrived in Rochester, Michigan at 9 a.m., December 18. Until that time Eugenia had never been more than 75 miles from home.

Earl and Eugenia Davis are the parents of:
Margaret Amanda (Davis, Halicek) Fenner.
Marvin Earl Davis.
Robert Lee Davis.
