Wilbur ''Turtle" W. Arnink, 68, of 11268 East Law Road, North East,
died Saturday, Nov. 2, 1996, at his home.
He was born in Erie, Aug. 18, 1928, son of the late Walter J. and
Evelyn Schultz Arnink.
Mr. Arnink was employed at Electric Materials until retiring in
1986. He also drove a truck for J.R. Bull for 28 years, and was
co-owner of the Greenfield Basket factory for four years.
He attended the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in North East
and was an avid bowler, hunter and sports fan.
He was preceded in death by two grandsons, Adam and Patrick Luke.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Theresa Damon Arnink; a
son, Larry T. Arnink and his wife Terri of Titusville; two daughters,
Linda Luke and her husband Douglas of North East, and June Arnink of
Columbus, Ohio; his stepmother, Myrtle Kress Arnink of North East;
three sisters, Norma Turner of Richmond, Va., Mrs. John (Dorothy)
Snyder of Waynesboro, and Lois Gabriel of North East.
Burial will be at North East Cemetery.
