W. Burgess, 53, Resident Here 40 Years, Dies
Willard H. Burgess, 53, a resident of this community for the past 40 years, died In the Buffalo General Hospital on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 1947 at 2 p. m.. Mr. Burgess was taken ill about three weeks ago and removed to Buffalo last Saturday.
Born at Farmers Valley, Pa., on April 18, 1894, Mr. Burgess came to Bradford with his parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. William Burgess some 40 years ago. For 33 years Mr. Burgess
was employed by Grahams Florist here. He was a member of the East End Presbyterian Church.
