Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lou Fatula Buxton will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 10, 2010 in the Rush Chapel, Oakdale – Downtown location with Reverend Michael McIntosh officiating. Interment will follow in Resthaven Cemetery under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mrs. Buxton, 83, of Oakdale entered eternal rest on Friday, January 8, 2010 in Allen Oaks Nursing Home.
Mary was born to the union of Jessie Cloud, Sr. and Aline Naquin Cloud.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Fatula and three brothers, Ernest Cloud, L. C. Cloud and Jessie Cloud, Jr.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include two sons, Michael Fatula and his wife, Wanda Fay of Oakdale and Ernest Paul Fatula and his wife, Pat of Glenmora; three daughters, Shelia Ware and her husband, Herman of Oakdale, Delilah Willis and her husband, Jesse of Oakdale and Stephanie Tarver and her husband, Eddie of Kingwood, Texas; two sisters, Gerry Fontenot of Ville Platte and Partenia Collice of Oberlin; twelve grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
