Funeral services for Cicero Buxton, 77, of Oakdale
will be held at 3:30 p.m. today in the Oak Hill Baptist Church.
Officiating ministers will be the Revs. Clarence Dees, Gover Willis, John Monk and Randall Nabors.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Alexandria.
Mr. Buxton, a retired logger, died Friday in an Oakdale hospital.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Selin Thompson Buxton; four sons,
Harrison, Hubbard, Ralph and J.C. Buxton, all of Oakdale; two
daughters, Mrs. Callie Willis and Mrs. Eula Doyle, both of Oakdale; three brothers, William Buxton of Pitkin and Homer and Ellis Buxton both of Oakdale.
Also, two sisters, Mrs. Alvina Doyle of Glenmora and Mrs. Mary Hinson of Oakdale; 36 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
