Maj. Joseph J. Anthony, U.S.A.F. Retired, 78, and Officer OSHA Compliance, died Monday, June 23, 2003. Rosary and Memorial Service 7 p.m. Friday, Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Saturday, both at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Mulvane, burial at Resthaven Cemetery. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #7486 of Mulvane, and an Alumnus of Newman Universtiy. He was a recepient of the Air Force Commendation Medal. He was preceded in death by his wife Clara; son, Michael; brother, George M.
Survivors: daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Michael Bulger, Derby, Elizabeth and Kenneth Williams, Wichita, Patricia Anthony, Derby, Francie and Warren Potter, Wichita, Theresa and Steve Hearn, Derby, Margaret and Kevin Butler, Mulvane, Susanna Anthony, Dallas, TX; sons, George and Mark, both of Wichita; sister, Katherine Stidle, Pittsburgh, PA; 17 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
