OBITUARY
Services Thursday for Joe Gorzkiewicz
Funeral services for Joe G. Gorzkiewicz, merchant patrolman who died suddenly yesterday afternoon, will be held at the Davis Funeral Church at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon, the Rev. Carl Boyd officiating . Burial will be in Mount Muncie cemetery. The body was removed to the residence, 765 Olive street this afternoon to lie in state until the hour of services.
Mr. Gorzkiewicz had been a merchant patrolman in Leavenworth for 31 years. he was born in Leavenworth, April 10, 1868, and was married to Miss Olive Tuttle in this city March 5, 1896.
Other than the widow of the home address, survivors are; one daughter, Mrs. Lavera Burnham, Wymore, Neb; two sons, Louis of Eldorado, Kas., and Joseph Jr. of the home address; three sisters, Mrs Henry Starnes, rural route No. 3, Leavenworth; Mrs Agnes Leemand and Mrs. Louis Malody, both of Leavenworth.
Mr. Gorzkiewicz was a member of A.O.U.W. lodge No. 5, Leavenworth
