She was born June 15, 1902, in LaCrosse, Wis., the daughter of Julius and Elizabeth Knubel Strueby.
Mrs. Emge was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She married Valentine Emge on Nov. 23, 1923, in Conception Junction, Mo. He died Aug. 11, 1983.She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Julius, Joseph, Emil and Francis Strueby.
Survivors include three sons, Leo F. Emge, Leavenworth, William J. Emge, Lansing, and Charles J. Emge, Champlin, Minn.; two daughters, Kathryn D. Hood, Phoenix, and Margaret L. Whitton, Leavenworth; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Belden-Sexton-Sumpter Funeral Chapel where a rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph church. The Rev. Mike Stubbs will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery following the service.Memorial may be given to St. Joseph Church or Leavenworth Hospice.
