Mrs. Bertha Schrader was born to John and Magdalena Schrenk Rott on a farm near Lind, Washington. She was a longtime resident of Lind before moving to Moses Lake in 1992.
She married Dan Schrader in 1925, and the couple farmed near Ruff, Wash., until moving to Lind in 1931. She was a homemaker.
Her husband died in 1994.
Survivors include two sons, Melvin Schrader of Spokane and Floyd Schrader of San Pedro, Calif.; two daughters, Norma Snead of Moses Lake and Luella Hall of Portland; two sisters, Frieda Rott of Seattle and Martha Acuff of Pullman; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
