He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Roberta Adair.
The service will be at 2 p.m. EDT Friday at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, Timberlane Road Chapel (850-893-4177), with burial at Culley's MeadowWood Memorial Park.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. EDT today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Resource Center of Tallahassee, P.O. Box 3553, Tallahassee, FL 32315.
Mr. Adair graduated from the FBI Academy and retired from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement after 40 years of service.
He was a veteran of World War II, where he fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
Mr. Adair was a former Mason and a member of First Baptist Church.
