Andrew Adams was born October 16, 1914 in Raymond, Mississippi. At age 101, he passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.

Andrew served in the U. S. Army, worked at the Dayton VA Medical Center, Peaks Security, and retired from Dayton Tire and Rubber Company. Mr. Adams was a faithful member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church for over 50 years where he also served as a Deacon.

Preceded in death by his wife, Barbara J. Adams; his parents; son, Mark L. Adams; grandson, Christen Mark Adams; and (14) brothers and sisters.

Andrew is survived by (3) daughters, Mary Hawthorne, Tina (Samuel) Smith and Patricia Adams; (1) step-daughter, Gloria Scott; loving grandfather of (12) grandchildren; (20) great grandfather; (2) great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
