Vicente Aguilar Cubero was an political figure in mid-19th century Costa Rica. He held a number of governmental posts, including Magistrate of the Supreme Court, President of Congress, Minister of War, and Vice President. He played an important role in the development of coffee-production in Costa Rica, which made him of the richest men in the country. He was personal friends with President Juan Mora, with whom he ran a commercial society.
